Where is Sumner?
Sumner is a beautiful village by the ocean located about 25 mins by car/bus from the city. Our hostel is close to all the essential requirements including supermarket, cafes, post shop, beach and walking tracks.
How do I get there?
You can take bus number 3 from the bus exchange in the city or follow the map that is on our website. Bus number 3 also runs from the airport all the way out to Sumner. The trip from the airport takes a bit over an hour.
Is linen supplied?
Yes all our beds are made up and towells are provided in the ensuite rooms.
Is there parking and storage facilities?
There is heaps of off street parking and free storage. You can even leave your bags with us in locked storage while you travel around New Zealand.
How many in a shared room?
Our share rooms sleep 4 people.
What time is check-out?
Check out is 11am so you have plenty of time to pack up and maybe have one last swim in the beautiful pacific ocean.
Do you have internet?
Yes we have coin operated internet that costs $6/hour and we also have WiFi that can abe accessed from all rooms.
